I suppose if I'm going to teach children to read I should read what they'll be reading...
If you have any suggestions or ideas of books that connect to the books I've listed, please let me know! Same author, same genre, same theme or similar elements... non-fiction, biography, poetry or prose... something that influenced or was influenced by... I want to build a library list so I can tell my students Hey, you liked that, try this!
